The Wizard of Apps is built so your ideas stay yours. This policy covers the Wizard of Apps app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch, and this website.

No account

The app has no sign-in and no account. We do not collect your name, email address or contact details through the app.

Your ideas and projects

• Your app ideas, names, brand kits, design briefs, agent chats and what your agent learns about your app are stored on your device.
• Creative steps run on Apple Intelligence on your device. Writing your app's code runs on Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which Apple designs so your data is not stored or visible to Apple.
• Your Apple Watch and widget get your agent's updates from your iPhone, on your own devices.
• We never receive, sell or use your ideas to train models.

Optional: your own API key

If you choose to add your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key in Settings, the key is stored in your device's Keychain, and requests you make go directly from your device to that provider under its own privacy policy. This is entirely optional.

Other things the app looks up

• App Store charts: "Surprise me" reads Apple's public top-charts feed. Nothing about you is sent.
• Domain check: to see if a name's .com is taken, the app sends only that domain name to a public DNS service (Cloudflare).
• Image libraries: links to Pexels, Unsplash and Pixabay open those sites in your browser.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Analytics and tracking

The app has no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking.

Apps you build

The apps you export are yours. You are responsible for the privacy practices of the apps you publish.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.
